The history of BME Bangladesh is rooted in over four decades of entrepreneurship, diversification, and commitment to serving the people of Bangladesh. Our journey began in 1979 with Shah Industries in Dinajpur, later we were engaged in procurement, manufacturing and supply of rice mills, filling stations, flour mills, agro-based products and construction materials like rice, wheat, maize, flour, semolina and brick kilns. These activities played a vital role in supporting the local economy of North Bangladesh and laid the foundation of the values ​​of trust, reliability and service that still guide us today.

In 2003, we expanded into the technology sector by establishing Business Machines & Equipment (BME). From the very beginning, the focus was to introduce modern office automation products and ICT solutions to Bangladeshi businesses. This marked a turning point, allowing us to bring world-class technology to banks, government institutions, and private enterprises across the country.

Recognizing the need for growth and formalization, the company became a registered private limited company under the Joint Stock Commission of the Government of Bangladesh in 2013, adopting the new name BME Solutions (BD) Limited.
